In recognition of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Heather Christine sings French Classics, such as those of Edith Piaf, at Parkland on the Glen on August 1, 2024.
"La Vie en rose" (French for 'Life in pink') is the signature song of popular French singer Édith Piaf, written in 1945, popularized in 1946, and released as a single in 1947. The song became very popular in the United States in 1950, when seven versions reached the Billboard charts. These recordings were made by Tony Martin, Paul Weston, Bing Crosby (recorded 22 June 1950), Ralph Flanagan, Victor Young, Dean Martin, and Louis Armstrong. Does anyone know the actual size of this flags?
I checked online for images of Japanese Yosakoi Flag Wavers. I look at one picture and guess the height of the flag bearer. I measure the width and length of the flag in relation to the flag bearer and try to come up with a size for you. All the flag wavers seem to carry varying sizes and different shapes of flags. Some flags are almost double the height of the flag bearer in both width and length. So I imagine the average adult Yosakoi Flag bearer is a strong male who must be able to wave a flag that is at least 8' by 12' or 10' by 15'. Some flags are square, some are rectangular, and some are triangular in shape. There doesn't seem to be a standardized size.

I heard a Christmas song by Marie Gogo on 740am radio about 15 years ago that I really liked, I don't know the title, having heard it only once. To the best of my memory one line might have been "I won't be home for Christmas". I have tried over the years to find it, anybody out there know this song?
